A Quick Note:
This UX Case Study explores the development of a personal concept project—an app that has been meticulously crafted through every stage of the UX/UI process, including research, design, and testing. Inspired by the desire to create a transformative user experience, this project demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of user-centric design principles and showcases the journey undertaken to bring the app to life.

Without further ado, let us embark on a captivating journey through the creation of this innovative app, from its initial inspiration to its final polished design.
The Challenge
There is a lack of an online presence for Bob's small burger restaurant, which hinders the potential growth and reach of his business. By developing an app that enables customers to place orders online, leave reviews, and schedule pickups, the goal is to establish an effective online platform that enhances accessibility and convenience for customers while boosting Bob's visibility and reputation in the market.

Usability Study
-
Users interacted with a low fidelity prototype
Most people had difficulty
with the navigation
and wanted an area to add substitutions
RESULTS
-
Add breadcrumb navigation to let users know what page they were on.
-
Added a “notes to kitchen” box so users can add substitutions or let the kitchen know about their allergies.
"I didn't know what screen I was on but I figured it out." (P2)
"I'm allergic to onions. There isn't a place to communicate that to the kitchen." (P3)
Most people mentioned that they did not see a field for the phone number or a submit button on the Profile Page
-
Added in the phone number field.
-
Added a submit button that is linked to an email list and shows the user a welcome screen once they’ve created their profile.
"Where is the phone number field?" (P4)
"There isn't a submit button or
something after I fill out the form." (P1)
High Fidelity Prototypes
Taking into account the valuable feedback gathered from the lo-fi prototype testing, I incorporated the required adjustments and crafted the hi-fi prototypes in preparation for the upcoming round of testing.
High Fidelity Prototypes
After revising and designing the hi-fi prototypes, I proceeded to conduct a new round of moderated user interviews via Zoom. Try the hi-fi prototype here.
